Key benefits:
- User-friendly application, allowing users to easily navigate the calculator interface.
- Fast and straightforward cardiovascular risk assessment, the application enables rapid calculation of the 10-year risk of cardiovascular disease based on the SCORE2 and SCORE2-OP models.
- Easy accessibility, the online calculator is available anytime and anywhere, whether on a PC, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone.
What we worked on:
- Web application development, including the design and implementation of a web interface for easy access to the cardiovascular risk calculator.
- Application design in Figma, enabling ongoing collaboration and visualisation of the future application, significantly reducing the risk of errors in later development stages.
- Backend development in Go for fast processing and minimal server load.
- Frontend development in React, making the application interactive.
- Monitoring and operations essential for maintaining stable and reliable application performance.
For the FNHK calculator, we chose a combination of white and charcoal blue. White symbolises cleanliness and neutrality — as a background it does not distract during work and allows doctors to fully focus on data and calculation results.
Charcoal blue ensures optimal contrast and legibility without being visually tiring during prolonged use, which is essential in a clinical environment.

Public Sans
For the application, we chose Public Sans, a modern sans-serif font with clean lines and open shapes. Its high legibility and neutral character make it an ideal choice for an environment where doctors work with specialist data and need to quickly and accurately interpret measurement results.
