Backend API for connecting travel agency offerings, reservations and payments in one place.
The beginning of the story
The idea arose to create an application that would bring together holiday offerings from various travel agencies in one place and allow users to safely book and pay for a holiday directly. Our role was architecture and backend API development, to which the frontend part of the application then connects.

What we worked on
- Connection to travel agency data and creation of a search API to provide current results.
- Creation of a booking API for fast and simple holiday reservations.
- ČSOB payment gateway integration for secure payments directly within the application.
- Operations management via Kubernetes, which automatically launches and monitors individual parts of the system and scales them according to current load.
- PostgreSQL database integration for fast data processing.
Result
A backend API was created built on a microservice architecture using Go and gRPC, capable of handling high performance and low latency even under a larger number of requests. Tringa can thus connect holidays from multiple travel agencies and reliably process reservations and payments in one place.
